The Edmonton Council of Imams exists to unite local imams upon cooperation, consultation, and shared responsibility in serving the Muslim community. Our mission is to provide a structured forum where qualified scholars can come together to discuss contemporary issues, review religious rulings collectively, and offer balanced, well-considered guidance for the benefit of the wider population.
Through collaboration, mutual respect, and adherence to sound Islamic principles, the Council seeks to strengthen unity among community leaders, promote clarity in religious matters, and ensure that decisions affecting the community are approached with wisdom, justice, and collective insight.
